Berry's Isabel Fransen scored in the second overtime to give the Vikings a 13-12 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Selby Stadium.

Berry's Dani Taraska got on the board first, less than 30 seconds into the game, and Morgan Barton added a second goal 5 minutes later.  The Bishops responded by scoring 5 straight goals with senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) finding the back of the net twice.  Senior attacker Casey Conklin (Marcellus, N.Y.), sophomore midfielder Isabel Milner (Riverton, Utah), and junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) each added a goal.

Junior attacker Sam Frary (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley Charter) added to the Bishops' lead off of a free-position shot, but Taraska scored 3 more goals for Berry in the second quarter to even the score at 6 going into halftime.

The teams traded goals with Milner and freshman midfielder Emma Reynolds (Delaware/Columbus Bishop Watterson) adding another.  Fleming scored her third goal with 15 seconds left in the quarter to give the Bishops the lead going into the final 15 minutes.

Berry scored 3 straight to start the quarter to give them the lead.  Attacker-midfielder Amara Carlson (Dublin/Coffman) collected a ball from sophomore attacker Brie Colangelo (Providence, R.I./Moses Brown School) right in front of the goal to score.  Colangelo added a goal of her own with 49 seconds left on the clock to send the game into overtime.

Trinh had a strong look for the Bishops but it was saved as the first overtime went scoreless.  Fleming took a shot as the second overtime began, but it bounced right off the post.  Berry collected the ball and raced off to score the golden goal.

Junior defender Abbie Grogan (Louisville, Ky./Kentucky Country Day) won 4 draw controls for the Bishops and caused 7 turnovers, tying for second place on the Ohio Wesleyan single-game list.  Trinh collected 3 draw controls and senior defender Sammy Johnson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) earned 1.

Fleming led with 3 goals, reaching 100 career goals with her second of the evening.  Milner and Conklin each added 2. Colangelo and Trinh notched a goal and 2 assists.  Three other Bishops rounded out the scoring. Senior goalkeeper Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) made 5 saves through 67 minutes.
