Junior attacker Sam Frary (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley Charter) scored a pair of first-quarter goals for Ohio Wesleyan, but John Carroll outscored the Bishops, 4-0, during the second quarter and went on to a non-conference win on Wednesday in University Heights.

Junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) put the Bishops on the scoreboard during the opening minute of the game, but the Blue Streaks answered with a 4-1 run that included a pair of goals from Olivia Hanulak.

Frary brought the Bishops within 4-3 with a goal late in the period, but Hanulak scored 2 more goals during the second period as JCU took an 8-3 lead at the half.

Frary added 2 more scores during the third quarter, and when senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) opened the fourth quarter with a goal, the Bishops were within 10-6, but John Carroll scored the next 5 goals to pull away.

Frary led the Bishops with 4 goals.  Sophomore Grace Lilly (Granville) stopped 5 shots in the Ohio Wesleyan crease.
