at Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Open

Sophomore Alex Bzdafka (Solon) and sophomore Connor Smith (Marysville) posted top-20 finishes for Ohio Wesleyan during the first day of the Jud Logan Light Giver Open, hosted by Ashland University on Friday in Ashland.

Bzdafka tied for 14th in the pole vault by clearing 14-1¼.

Smith finished 16th in the 200-meter dash in :22.38.

The Jud Logan Light Giver Open is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
