at Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Open

Sophomore Connor Smith (Marysville) and sophomore Dylan Harper (Marysville) recorded top-20 finishes for Ohio Wesleyan during the second day of the Jud Logan Light Giver Open, hosted by Ashland University on Saturday in Ashland.

The meet, which included competitors from Division I, Division II, and Division III institutions, was not scored.

Smith finished eighth in the 400-meter dash in :51.14.

Harper placed 17th in the 60-meter hurdles in :08.58.

The Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team of junior Ryan Tripp (Sunbury/Big Walnut), freshman Jacob Blubaugh (Columbus/Bishop Ready), junior Jake Marzulli (Medina), and Smith finished 13th in 3:28.92.
