Senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) scored 4 goals during an 8-1 run that put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay in a non-conference win over McDaniel on Wednesday in Westminster, Md.

Addison Utterback put the Green Terror on the scoreboard with a goal in the opening minute of the game, but the Bishops scored the next 5 goals, with Fleming scoring thrice and junior attacker Sam Frary (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley Charter) twice for a 5-1 Ohio Wesleyan lead.

McDaniel's Charlotte Alexander wrapped up the first-quarter scoring with a goal to make it 5-2, but Ohio Wesleyan opened the second quarter with 3 straight goals, including one by Fleming, to stretch the margin to 8-2.

Sophomore attacker Brie Colangelo (Providence, R.I./Moses Brown School) converted a pair of free-position shots during a later 4-0 run that gave Ohio Wesleyan a 13-4 lead early in the third period, and the Bishops went on to close out the win.

Fleming led the Bishops with 4 goals and 2 assists, while Colangelo finished with 3 goals and an assist.  Senior Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) was credited with 10 saves.
