Box Score
Dickinson 9, Ohio Wesleyan 8

Senior attacker Amara Carlson (Dublin/Coffman) scored to tie the game at 8, but Dickinson's Jillian McNulty tallied the go-ahead goal with :55 left in regulation time and the Red Devils went on to a non-conference win over the Bishops on Friday in Carlisle, Pa.

Down, 7-2, at halftime, the Bishops opened the third quarter with scores from junior attacker Sam Frary (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley Charter) and sophomore midfielder Isabel Milner (Riverton, Utah).  Dickinson got a goal from Delaney Herbert midway through the period, but Ohio Wesleyan answered with 4 straight goals, culminating in Carlson's score that evened the game at 8 with 9:20 remaining.

Senior Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) made a pair of saves to preserve the tie, but Dickinson keeper Peyton Vandorpe was equal to the task, stopping back-to-back shots by senior attacker Casey Conklin (Marcellus, N.Y.) and senior midfielder Lindsay Wolverton (Delaware/Hayes) with just under 5 minutes to play.

As the clock ticked under 1 minute to go, Markowitz came up with a save on a shot by Caroline Cavendish, but McNulty was there to score on a follow shot to give the Red Devils the lead.

Dickinson won the ensuing draw control, but junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) forced a turnover and collected the ground ball to give the Bishops a chance at the equalizer, but Ohio Wesleyan was not able to get off a shot.

First-quarter goals by senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette)
and Trinh erased an early 2-0 deficit, but Dickinson scored the next 5 goals, including one by Herbert that beat the first-half horn, to take a 7-2 lead at the intermission.

Fleming and Frary scored 2 goals apiece.
Markowitz finished with 10 saves
, including 5 during the fourth period.
