Junior attacker Will Siegenthaler (Elmhurst, Ill./York) and sophomore attacker Wade Beckstrom (Devon, Pa./Conestoga) scored to bring Ohio Wesleyan within 4-2, but Franklin & Marshall went on to a non-conference win on Sunday in Lancaster, Pa.

The Diplomats took a 3-0 lead after the opening quarter as Dillon Mannix scored one goal and set up 2 Matt Marino scores.

Siegenthaler put the Bishops on the scoreboard during the first minute of the second period, and after a Kai Kelly goal, Beckstrom brought the Bishops within 4-2 with a goal midway through the quarter, only to see Kelly answer with another score.

That pattern would continue as Franklin & Marshall had an answer for each Ohio Wesleyan goal, keeping the Bishops at arm's length throughout the remainder of the contest.

Beckstrom led the Bishops with 2 goals and 2 assists, while junior midfielder Garrett Smith (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) had 2 goals.  Senior Nathan George (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) finished with 11 saves.
