Sophomore Brianna Montgomery (Gibsonburg) posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish to lead the Bishops at the WashU Distance Carnival, hosted by Washington University on Thursday and Friday in St. Louis.

The meet was not scored.

Montgomery finished 20th in the 800-meter run in 2:24.55.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Allison Dietz (Newark), who placed 60th in the 5000-meter run in 17:53.21; junior McKenna Downing (Pleasant Hill/Newton Local), who was 86th in the 5000-meter run in 18:15.57; and sophomore Zoe Ward (Columbus/Worthington Christian), who finished 88th in the 5000-meter run in 18:18.79.
