Junior Emily Davis (Brimfield/Mogadore Field), sophomore Elsa Hoam (Fredericktown), and junior Hazel Jolliff (Cardington/Cardington-Lincoln) won events for Ohio Wesleyan at the Denison Lid-Lifter, hosted by Denison University on Saturday in Granville.

The meet was not scored.

Davis won the discus with a throw of 136-0 and added a seventh-place finish in the hammer.

Hoam won the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:20.51.

Jolliff won the javelin with a throw of 118-5.

The Ohio Wesleyan 400-meter relay team of freshman Katherine Dortmund (Westerville/Columbus St. Francis DeSales), freshman Kennedy Elfers (Powell/Olentangy Liberty), sophomore Amarah McPhaul (Muncie, Ind./Daleville), and freshman Aelyn Baumbarger (Marysville) won its event in :47.67.

Other standouts for the Bishops included Baumbarger, who finished second in the 100- and 200-meter dashes; McPhaul, who was second in the high jump, seventh in the javelin, and eighth in the 100-meter dash; senior Aliisa James (Miamisburg/Dayton Christian), who finished second in the 400-meter hurdles; junior Emma Hall (Ironton), who placed second in the hammer; junior Claire Coleman (Cincinnati/Ursuline Academy), who tied for second in the pole vault and placed seventh in the triple jump; sophomore Addie Beck (Wadsworth), who tied for second in the pole vault; freshman Jera Hoy (Radnor/Buckeye Valley), who was third in the discus; freshman Yehdeiah Dennis (Columbus/Beechcroft), who placed fourth in the 200- and 400-meter dashes; junior Coral Pierson (Powell/Olentangy Liberty), who placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles; sophomore Alexis Eusey (Marengo/Highland), who finished fourth in the javelin; sophomore Jackie Rychlik (Marysville), who was fifth in the pole vault; sophomore Jada Colvin (Cleveland/Mayfield), who placed fifth in the triple jump; sophomore River Hamilton (Sunbury/Big Walnut), who finished sixth in the 800-meter run; junior Alyssa Henry (Warren/Howland), who placed sixth in the 5000-meter run; freshman Ava Sartini (Geneva), who was sixth in the pole vault; sophomore Sarah Youngquist (Cary, N.C./Athens Drive), who finished seventh in the pole vault; freshman Kali Kohler (Wapakoneta), who tied for seventh in the high jump; freshman Tianna Haten (New Orleans, La./Carver), who was eighth in the 200-meter dash; sophomore Lucy Johnson (Cleveland Heights/Lawrence), who finished eighth in the 5000-meter run; and freshman Abrianna Hite (Delaware/Hayes), who placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles.

The Ohio Wesleyan 1600-meter relay team of James, senior Ashley Beatty (Delaware/Buckeye Valley), Hite, and Dennis finished fourth.
