Box Score
Ohio Wesleyan 18, Otterbein 10

Senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) collected a goal and 3 assists during a 5-0 run that broke a 2-2 tie and put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay in a non-conference win over Otterbein on Wednesday at Selby Stadium.

Fleming put the Bishops on the scoreboard just over a minute into the game, but the Cardinals answered with an Alyssa Glenn goal less than a minute later.  That pattern repeated itself when junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) scored for Ohio Wesleyan and Ava Robey answered for Otterbein.

Fleming tallied an unassisted goal midway through the opening quarter to give Ohio Wesleyan a 3-2 lead, then set up scores by sophomore attacker Brie Colangelo (Providence, R.I./Moses Brown School), senior attacker Casey Conklin (Marcellus, N.Y,), and sophomore midfielder Isabel Milner (Riverton, Utah) as the Bishops moved to a 7-2 advantage midway through the second quarter.  Fleming scored twice later in the period to make it a 9-4 game.

Otterbein rallied with a Robey goal in the closing seconds of the first half, and the Cardinals opened the second-half scoring with an Emily Williams goal to close to within 9-6, but the Bishops countered with goals from Colangelo, Conklin, and Fleming to stretch the margin to 12-6, and Ohio Wesleyan went on to close out the win.

Fleming led the Bishops with 5 goals and 5 assists, matching her career best in goals and establishing career marks for assists and points.  Trinh, Conklin, and Colangelo scored 3 goals apiece.  Senior Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) finished with 8 saves
