at All-Ohio championship

Senior Preston Pethtel (Heath) scored for Ohio Wesleyan during the first day of the All-Ohio championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Selby Stadium and the George Gauthier Track.

Baldwin Wallace was leading the meet with 35 points to 18 for Wooster and Case Reserve.  Kenyon was in fourth place with 14 points, followed by Denison and Otterbein (10), Oberlin (5), Capital (4), Heidelberg (2), and Ohio Wesleyan (1).

Pethtel finished eighth in the 10,000-meter run, clocking a 32:42.00.

The All-Ohio championship meet is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
