at All-Ohio championship

Sophomore Elsa Hoam (Fredericktown) won All-Ohio honors during the first day of the All-Ohio championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at Selby Stadium and the George Gauthier Track.

Ohio Northern was leading the meet with 18 points to 13 for Denison and Baldwin Wallace.  Wooster was in fourth place with 12 points, followed by Ohio Wesleyan and Otterbein (11), Oberlin and Kenyon (10), Case Reserve and Capital (6), and Heidelberg (1).

Hoam finished third in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:02.70.

Other standouts for the Bishops included senior Eleanor Luttman (Farmington Hills, Mich./Farmington), who finished fourth in the 10,000-meter run.

The All-Ohio championship meet is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
