at IUK Spring Shootout

Freshman Lexi Rush (Galion/Colonel Crawford) led Ohio Wesleyan at the IUK Spring Shootout, hosted by Indiana University-Kokomo on Saturday and Sunday at Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Ind.

Indiana-East won the tournament with a 644, defeating Bluffton by 10 shots.  Wooster finished third with a 669, followed by Thomas More (674), Heidelberg (684), Indiana-Kokomo (694), Holy Cross (Ind.) (753), Olivet (754), and Earlham (888).  Ohio Wesleyan did not record a team score.

Liv Sanders of Indiana-East won medalist honors with a 9-over total of 153.

Rush tied for 26th place among individuals with a 178.

Freshman Audrey Nichols (Uniontown/Lake) tied for 31st place at 181 and freshman Angela Soellner (Stryker) was 36th with a 189.
