Freshman Ella Chomic (Westerville/Columbus School for Girls), sophomore Allison Dietz (Newark), senior Aliisa James (Miamisburg/Dayton Christian), and sophomore Lucy Johnson (Cleveland Heights/Lawrence) won events for Ohio Wesleyan at the Big Red Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Friday in Granville.

The meet was not scored.

Chomic won the 800-meter run in 2:23.07.

Dietz won the 1500-meter run in 4:44.97.

James won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.21.

Johnson won the 3000-meter run in 11:03.18.

Other standouts for the Bishops included junior Coral Pierson (Powell/Olentangy Liberty), who finished second in the 100-meter hurdles; junior Alyssa Henry (Warren/Howland), who was second in the 800-meter run; sophomore Brianna Montgomery (Gibsonburg), who placed second in the 1500-meter run; freshman Laura Wagner (Akron/Revere), who was second in the 3000-meter run; senior Ashley Beatty (Delaware/Buckeye Valley), who finished third in the 1500-meter run; junior Bailey Wiese (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial), who placed fourth in the 3000-meter run; freshman Ava Sartini (Geneva), who was fourth in the pole vault; freshman Jera Hoy (Radnor/Buckeye Valley), who finished fourth in the shot put; and junior Emma Hall (Ironton), who placed fourth in the hammer.
