at Ashland Alumni Open

Freshman Katherine Dortmund (Westerville/Columbus St. Francis DeSales) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Ashland Alumni Open, hosted by Ashland University on Saturday in Ashland.

The meet was not scored.

Dortmund finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a :14.73 in the finals after turning in the fourth-fastest time in the preliminaries with a :14.36.  Dortmund also placed 15th in the 100-meter dash in :12.68.

Other standouts for the Bishops included junior Claire Coleman (Cincinnati/Ursuline Academy), who was 19th in the pole vault; freshman Kennedy Elfers (Powell/Olentangy Liberty), who finished 20th in the 100-meter dash; and sophomore Addie Beck (Wadsworth), who placed 20th in the pole vault.

The Ohio Wesleyan 400-meter relay team finished second in :48.13.
