Ohio Wesleyan University senior Carson Geier (Milford) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week of April 28, it was announced by the NCAC.

Geier, an attacker on the Ohio Wesleyan men's lacrosse team, was named Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week.

Geier scored 3 times as Ohio Wesleyan opened the second half with a 4-0 run to break an 8-8 tie and take the lead for good, and the Bishops went on to defeat then-14th-ranked Denison, 15-13, on Saturday.  Geier finished the day with 4 goals and added 2 ground balls.  The win gave Ohio Wesleyan the NCAC championship, the Bishops' second conference crown in 3 seasons and Ohio Wesleyan's first outright NCAC title since 2018.  Earlier in the week, Geier shared the team lead with 5 goals in a 23-8 win over Wooster on Wednesday.  On the week, Geier collected 9 goals and an assist.  This season, Geier ranks third in the NCAC in goals (42), ranks seventh in the league in points (56), and is tied for 15th in the conference in assists (14).
