Sophomore attacker Wade Beckstrom (Devon, Pa./Conestoga) scored 4 goals and sophomore midfielder Henry Ross (Snoqualmie, Wash./Mount Si) added 3 more during a game-opening 9-0 run that started Ohio Wesleyan on its way to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over DePauw on Saturday in Greencastle, Ind.

Junior attacker Will Siegenthaler (Elmhurst, Ill./York) put the Bishops on the scoreboard just over 2 minutes into the game and Ross followed with a goal before 3 straight scores from Beckstrom closed out the opening quarter.

The second period unfolded in similar fashion, with Siegenthaler starting the scoring, but this time it was Beckstrom who followed with a goal before back-to-back scores by Ross made it 9-0.

DePauw's Noah Sulpizio put the hosts on the scoreboard with a goal with 1:47 left in the half, but the Bishops pulled away by opening the second half with 5 straight goals, including a pair by senior attacker Carson Geier (Milford).

Beckstrom and Ross finished with 4 goals and an assist apiece.  Senior Nathan George (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) played the first 3 quarters in goal, recording 5 saves, and sophomore Jason Mosher (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton) had 4 saves during the fourth quarter.
