Junior midfielder Tiffany Trinh (Dublin/Scioto) scored to even the game at 3, but Wooster answered with a 3-0 run and went on to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Bishops on Tuesday in Wooster.

The Fighting Scots had opened the game with a 3-0 run, but Ohio Wesleyan answered in kind, getting scores from junior attacker Sam Frary (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley Charter) and senior attacker Caroline Fleming (Pittsburgh, Pa./West Fayette) to close out the first quarter before Trinh rang up the equalizer early in the second period.

Wooster responded with another 3-0 burst, this one featuring a pair of goals from Kaitlyn McBride, to open up a 6-3 lead before the Fighting Scots took a 7-4 lead at the intermission.

Fleming scored in the opening minute of the third quarter to bring the Bishops within 7-5, but Wooster closed out the period with a 3-0 burst that included 2 goals from Brynne Snaguski and would keep the Bishops at arm's length the rest of the way.

Fleming led the Bishops with 2 goals and an assist, while Frary and Trinh had 2 goals apiece.  Senior Abby Markowitz (Las Vegas, Nev./Somerset Academy) had 4 saves during the first 36-plus minutes and sophomore Grace Lilly (Granville) stopped 7 shots in completing the game in the Bishop crease.
