at Mount Union Last Chance meet

Freshman Katherine Dortmund (Westerville/Columbus St. Francis DeSales) and freshman Aelyn Baumbarger (Marysville) posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finishes at the Mount Union Last Chance meet, hosted by the University of Mount Union on Thursday in Alliance, Ohio.

The meet was not scored.

Dortmund competed in the 100-meter hurdles, turning in a :14.35 in the preliminaries and improving that to :14.27 in the final, good for a third-place finish.

Baumbarger placed third in the 200-meter dash in :25.54.

Freshman Kennedy Elfers (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) finished fifth in the 200-meter dash in :25.84. 

Junior Claire Coleman (Cincinnati/Ursuline Academy) and sophomore Addie Beck (Wadsworth) each cleared 11-1¾ in the pole vault, with Coleman tying for fifth place and Beck placing seventh.

Junior Emily Davis (Brimfield/Mogadore Field) was ninth in the discus with a throw of 130-2.

The Ohio Wesleyan 400-meter relay team of Dortmund, Baumbarger, Elfers, and sophomore Amarah McPhaul (Muncie, Ind./Daleville) was the only entry in that event, finishing in :47.54.
