at NCAA Division III championship

Freshman Katherine Dortmund (Westerville/Columbus St. Francis DeSales) will represent Ohio Wesleyan at the NCAA Division III championship meet on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24, at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, it was announced on Friday by the NCAA.

Dortmund will compete in the 100-meter hurdles, with the preliminaries scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Friday and the finals set for 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Dortmund is the No. 20 seed with a time of :14.19, turning in that time at the All-Ohio championship meet on April 12.  At the North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet on May 3, Dortmund won All-NCAC honors with a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in :14.39.
