Two Ohio Wesleyan University men's lacrosse players were named to the South roster for the annual Division III North-South All-Star game, it was announced today by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Senior goalkeeper Nathan George (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) and senior defenseman Wes Silver (Newton, Mass./Newton North) were selected to compete in the game.

The Division III North-South game is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.

George and Silver were part of a defensive unit that ranked third in the North Coast Athletic Conference in goals-against average (9.89).  Individually, George ranked third among NCAC goalkeepers with a 10.48 goals-against average and was fourth in saves percentage (.504), while Silver shared the team lead and tied for seventh in the NCAC in caused turnovers (22).

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 15-4 record.  The Battling Bishops won the NCAC championship with an 8-0 record in conference play, won the NCAC tournament, and made their first NCAA Division III tournament appearance since the 2018 season.
