Men's Golf Sixth After Second Round of NCAC Tournament

Junior Gavin Stutz (Wooster/Triway) was leading Ohio Wesleyan after the second round of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, hosted by Wabash College on Saturday at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind.

Wittenberg compiled a 5-under round of 283 on Saturday to move atop the team standings with a 567 to 572 for Kenyon.  Wabash was in third place at 586, followed by DePauw and Denison (595), Ohio Wesleyan (612), Wooster (617), and Hiram (664).

Mitchell Bolte of Wittenberg carded a 68 on Saturday to take over the individual lead at 139, one shot ahead of a 4-way tie for second place at 140.

Stutz turned in a 75 for the second consecutive day and was tied for 16th place at 150.

Freshman Daniel Golin (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) was tied for 19th place with a 151, senior Isaac Henry (Powell/Worthington Kilbourne) was in 29th place at 155, freshman Callahan Lawler (Hudson) was in 30th place with a 156, and senior Chris Whelton (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Mount Carmel) was in 35th
 place at 159

The third and final round of the NCAC tournament is scheduled for Sunday.
