5th of 6 at NCAC tournament

Freshman Lexi Rush (Galion/Colonel Crawford) led Ohio Wesleyan at the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, hosted by Wabash College on Sunday at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind.

Denison won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 929, defeating DePauw by 9 shots.  Wittenberg finished in third place at 1006, followed by Wooster (1022), Ohio Wesleyan (1209), and Hiram (1434).

DePauw's Becky Williams won medalist honors with a 219, defeating Denison's Lizzy Grant by 12 shots.

Rush finished in 17th place among individuals with a 264.

Freshman Audrey Nichols (Uniontown/Lake) finished in 20th place at 276, and freshman Angela Soellner (Stryker) finished in 21st place with a 289.  Senior Natalie Buravlov (Aurora, Colo./Grandview) shot a 131 on Sunday.
