CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced Tuesday morning its NCAC Athletes of the Week for the previous week of competition. Ohio Wesleyan University earned two selections: senior outside hitter
Natalie Dieball for volleyball and senior quarterback
C.J. Jackson for football offense. It is the third career honor for Dieball and the first for Jackson.
Dieball led the Bishops to two wins last week, defeating DePauw 3-2 and Oberlin 3-1 to secure a share of the NCAC Championship and lock up the two-seed in the conference tournament. She tallied the team high for kills in both contests with 16 in the five-setter against the Tigers and 12 in four sets against the Yeowomen. Defensively, Dieball recorded 18 digs and one block against DePauw and eight digs and one block against Oberlin. She also added a pair of service aces.
Jackson led the Red and Black to a fourth-straight win with a 35-28 victory over Wabash at Selby Stadium on Saturday – OWU's first win over the Little Giants since the 2021 season. He was 23-for-36 throwing with season highs of 237 yards and four touchdowns while not conceding a turnover or a sack. Jackson also ran for seven yards on one rushing attempt.
Ohio Wesleyan now has eight NCAC Athlete of the Week selections in the 2026-27 academic year and two each for the football and volleyball programs.
