Biography
2019-20: Won fourth letter as member of men’s swimming & diving team.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:16.07 and finished second in 100 butterfly vs. Wittenberg Oct. 25.
- Finished second in 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke vs. Ashland Nov. 1.
- Won 500 and 1000 freestyle events in respective times of 5:02.95 and 10:30.58 at Baldwin Wallace Nov. 2...also helped 200 freestyle relay team win in 1:33.66.
- Won 50 freestyle in :22.55 and finished second in 500 freestyle vs. Urbana Nov. 8.
- Finished second in 1000 freestyle and 200 backstroke and third in 400 IM vs. Findlay Nov. 9.
- Won 200 backstroke in 1:57.23 during the first day of Corbiere-Merion Invitational Nov. 23...also helped 800 freestyle relay team win in 7:09.56 and helped 200 medley relay team win in 1:36.33.
- Placed second in 400 IM and 1650 freestyle during second day of Corbiere-Merion Invitational Nov. 24.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:22.52 at Wooster Jan. 18...also finished sixth in 200 butterfly and 200 backstroke.
- Won 200 and 500 freestyle events in respective times of 1:51.41 and 5:03.17 vs. Oberlin Jan. 25...also helped 200 medley relay team win in 1:42.73.
- Placed fourth in 300 freestyle and fifth in 25 freestyle in double-dual meet vs. second-ranked Denison and Division I Youngstown State Feb. 1.
- Finished 13th in 500 freestyle at North Coast Athletic Conference championship meet Feb. 13.
- Placed 13th in 400 IM at NCAC championship meet Feb. 14.
- Set pair of school records at NCAC championship meet Feb. 15...finished seventh in 1650 freestyle in school-record 16:17.04...covered the first 1000 yards of the race in 9:53.44, breaking school mark...also helped 400 freestyle relay team to fifth-place finish.
- Broke school record in 1000 freestyle at Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational Feb. 22...covered first 1000 yards of race in 9:49.10.
2018-19: Won third letter as member of men’s swimming & diving team.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:37.20 and placed second in 100 backstroke vs. Baldwin Wallace Oct. 19...also helped 400 freestyle relay team win in 3:23.20.
- Helped 3x500 freestyle relay team post Bishops’ best finish with fourth-place showing at Kenyon Relays Oct. 20.
- Won 400 IM in 4:34.01 and 500 freestyle in 5:09.30 at Wittenberg Oct. 26.
- Placed second in 1000 freestyle at Findlay Nov. 2...also helped 200 medley relay team win in 1:39.24.
- Helped 200 medley relay team win in 1:35.86 at Corbiere-Merion Invitational Nov. 17...also placed second in 200 IM.
- Won 1650 freestyle in 17:02.52 and was third in 400 IM at Corbiere-Merion Invitational Nov. 18.
- Placed second in 200 IM and fifth in 200 backstroke in double-dual meet at Ashland Jan. 12.
- Won 400 IM in 4:29.33 in “home-and-home” meet vs. Wooster Jan. 19...also finished second in 1000 freestyle.
- Won 1650 freestyle in 17:42.26 at Oberlin Jan. 26...also helped 400 medley relay team win in 3:41.72.
- Helped 200 medley relay finish third vs. second-ranked Kenyon Feb. 1...also finished fifth in 200 and 500 freestyle events.
- Placed fourth in 100 backstroke vs. top-ranked Denison Feb. 2.
- Finished 20th in 200 IM at NCAC championship meet Feb. 14...also helped 400 medley relay team to fifth-place finish.
- Finished eighth in 400 IM at NCAC championship meet Feb. 15...also helped 200 medley relay team break school record with 1:33.77.
- Placed 12th in 1650 freestyle at NCAC championship meet Feb. 16.
2017-18: Won second letter as member of men’s swimming & diving team.
- Swept 500 (4:59.54) and 1000 (10:44.00) freestyle events at Baldwin Wallace Oct. 20...also helped 200 medley relay win in 1:40.41.
- Won 500 (5:02.97) and 1000 (10:18.67) freestyle events vs. Wittenberg Oct. 27.
- Finished second in 1650 freestyle vs. Findlay Nov. 3.
- Helped 400 freestyle relay team win in 3:15.61 vs. Urbana Nov. 10.
- Won 1650 freestyle in 17:01.70 at Corbiere-Merion Invitational Nov. 18-19...also helped 200 medley relay win in 1:35.64 and 800 freestyle relay win in 7:04.84.
- Won 200 freestyle in 1:50.70 and 100 butterfly in :56.72 vs. Alderson Broaddus Jan. 19...also helped 200 medley relay team win in 1:44.42.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:19.05 and placed second in 500 freestyle in double-dual meet against Allegheny and Wooster Jan. 20.
- Finished second in 1000 freestyle vs. Ohio Northern Jan. 26...in other side of double-dual meet against second-ranked Kenyon, was third in 1000 freestyle.
- Won 1000 freestyle (10:32.00), 500 freestyle (5:03.98), and 400 IM (4:35.49) vs. Notre Dame and Oberlin Jan. 27...also helped 200 medley relay win in 1:39.01 and 800 freestyle relay win in 7:23.96.
- Finished 13th in 200 IM (1:56.36) at NCAC championship meet Feb. 15.
- Placed 12th in 400 IM (4:12.93) at NCAC championship meet Feb. 16.
- Finished 14th in 1650 freestyle (17:01.76) at NCAC championship meet Feb. 17.
2016-17: Lettered as member of men’s swimming & diving team.
- Won 200 and 500 freestyle events in respective times of 1:50.22 and 5:05.70 vs. Baldwin Wallace Oct. 23...also helped 200 freestyle relay team win its event in 1:30.60.
- Placed second in 500 and 1000 freestyle events at Mount Union Oct. 28.
- Won 400 IM in 4:26.09 and finished third in 100 backstroke at Wittenberg Oct. 29...also helped 200 medley relay team win its event in 1:42.12.
- Placed third in the 100 IM and the 100 backstroke at Urbana Nov. 11.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:24.34 and placed third in 100 freestyle at John Carroll Nov. 12.
- Won 1000 freestyle in 10:32.82 vs. DePauw Jan. 7.
- Won 1650 freestyle in 17:52.15 and placed second in 500 freestyle in triangular meet vs. Notre Dame and Oberlin Jan. 21...also helped Bishops close meet with win in 800 freestyle relay in 7:23.75.
- Finished 23rd in 500 freestyle at NCAC championship meet Feb. 9.
- Won “B” final with 10th-place finish in 400 IM at NCAC championship meet Feb. 10.
- Placed 10th in 1650 freestyle at NCAC championship meet Feb. 11.
High School: Lettered thrice in swimming and twice in water polo.
- Won all-district and all-league honors in swimming.
- Helped water polo team win 2 state championships.
