Mike Yinger is in his first season as an assistant baseball coach at Ohio Wesleyan. He will work with the Bishop catchers and assist with infielders and baserunning.
Yinger comes to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as head coach at Delaware Hayes High School for 8 seasons and at Columbus DeSales High School for 4 seasons. He recorded over 200 wins and coached 4 players who went on to sign professional contracts.
Yinger is a 1996 graduate of Ohio Dominican University, where he was a 4-year starter in the infield and was a member of the first Panther team to reach the NAIA World Series.
He is a native of Columbus and attended DeSales High School.
