Roger Ingles

Roger Ingles is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Ingles is no stranger to Ohio Wesleyan, having served as athletics director for 12 years and as Ohio Wesleyan's baseball coach for 22 seasons. His teams totaled 15 NCAA Division III postseason appearances and 8 NCAC championships. He posted a career record of 645-322-8, a winning percentage of .666. Ingles' teams won at least 20 games during each of his last 20 seasons.

In addition to serving as Ohio Wesleyan's head baseball coach, Ingles also has been an assistant coach in football and women's basketball, helping both of those teams win their first NCAC championships.

Ingles began his coaching career in 1980 as an assistant at Morral Ridgedale High School in Marion. He became an assistant coach at The Ohio State University in 1982. A native of Columbus, Ingles is a 1980 graduate of Ohio State. He has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in sports management.
