Steve Little is in his third season as a member of the Ohio Wesleyan baseball coaching staff.
Little came to Ohio Wesleyan after a long and decorated career as a high school baseball coach. He served as head coach at nearby Olentangy High School from 2001-12, compiling a record of 189-103, and earning Ohio Division I Coach of the Year honors in 2006. Prior to Olentangy, Little was head coach at Jackson (Ohio) High School from 1989-2001, compiling a record of 191-99 and winning 3 league championships. Little also coached with Team Ohio from 1996-2001.
He is a former president of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association, and served on the association's board of directors for 12 years. He was inducted into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2012.
Little is a 1984 graduate of the University of Rio Grande. He lettered 4 times in baseball and earned a bachelor's degree in education. Little continued his education by earning a master's degree in sports administration from the U.S. Sports Academy.
He is a native of Pomeroy, Ohio.
