Tyler Miller begins his third season of his second stint as an assistant coach of the Ohio Wesleyan University baseball team. He was an assistant coach with the Battling Bishops during the 2019 season before becoming head coach at Buckeye Valley High School.
Prior to joining the Ohio Wesleyan staff, Miller served as varsity pitching coach and head freshman coach at Delaware Hayes High School.
He is a 2016 graduate of Northern Kentucky University, where he pitched for 2 seasons. As a senior, he ranked second on the Norse in innings pitched and compiled a 3-4 record. He led the Horizon League in runners picked off base (5). His junior year, he led the Norse in earned run average (3.72), pitching a complete-game win over Maryville and recording a save against Xavier. He graduated with a degree in communications and a minor in marketing. Miller began his collegiate career at Lincoln Trail College, compiling a 2.68 earned run average as a sophomore and picking up a pair of wins as a freshman.
Miller is a native of Delaware, Ohio.
