Nikki Wimsatt is in her fourth season as assistant field hockey coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
This is Wimsatt's second coaching stint with her mother, Marge Redmond. She served as Redmond’s assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Upper Arlington High School for one season.
Wimsatt served as head coach at Upper Arlington for 9 seasons. She also served as co-chair of the Senior All-Star Field Hockey game for 9 years.
A 1996 graduate of Ohio University, Wimsatt was a 4-year starter in field hockey for the Bobcats. She majored in special education.
Wimsatt is a native of Columbus, Ohio.
