Biography
2022 track & field: Member of men’s track & field team...won second letter indoors and first letter outdoors.
- Finished second in 800-meter run at Baldwin Wallace Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge Jan. 29.
- Was third in mile run at Denison Bob Shannon Invitational Feb. 5...also helped 1600-meter relay team win in 3:32.65.
- Placed fourth in 800-meter run at All-Ohio championship meet Feb. 12.
- Finished fifth in 800-meter run at Wittenberg Invitational Feb. 19.
- Won 800-meter run in school-record time of 1:53.15 at North Coast Athletic Conference championship Feb. 26.
- Received All-Great Lakes Region honors in 800-meter run from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
- Won All-Ohio titles in 800- and 1500-meter runs in respective times of 1:55.31 and 3:56.17 at All-Ohio championship April 16.
- Named NCAC Middle Distance/Distance Runner of Week after the All-Ohio championship.
- Placed second in his section of 800-meter run at Jesse Owens Classic April 23...his 1:53.47 was the eighth-fastest time in the meet.
- Won his section of 800-meter run at Drake Relays meet April 28....his time of 1:52.91 was ninth overall.
- Won 400-meter dash in :51.36 at Denison Big Red Invitational April 29.
- Named NCAC Middle Distance/Distance Runner of Week after the Drake Relays and Denison Big Red Invitational.
- Repeated as NCAC Middle Distance/Distance Runner of Year after winning 1500- and 800-meter runs in respective times of 3:57.95 and 1:56.23 at NCAC championship May 6.
- Set school record with 1:50.78 in 800-meter run at Lee University Last Chance meet May 14.
- Finished 15th in 800-meter run at NCAA Division III championship May 27.
2021 cross country: Won second letter as member of men’s cross country team.
- Helped relay team to second-place finish in season opener vs. Wilmington Sept. 1.
- Placed fourth on team and 36th overall at NCAC Preview Sept. 11.
- Finished second on team and 128th overall at All-Ohio championship Sept. 17.
- Placed third on team and 166th overall at Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational Oct. 2.
- Led Bishops with 105th-place finish at Oberlin Interregional Rumble Oct. 16.
- Won honorable mention All-NCAC recognition with 20th-place finish at NCAC championship Oct. 30.
- Led Bishops with 58th-place finish at NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional championship Nov. 13.
2021 track & field: Member of men’s track & field team.
- Placed second in 800-meter run at Wittenberg Feb. 20.
- Finished second in 400-meter dash at Denison Feb. 27.
- Helped 1600-meter relay team win in 3:32.24 at Wooster March 6...also was second in 800-meter run.
- Won 800- and 1500-meter events in respective times of 1:57.99 and 4:08.16 at Wittenberg March 26.
- Named NCAC Distance/Middle Distance Runner of the Week after the Wittenberg meet.
- Won 1500-meter run in 4:04.72 at Denison April 2.
- Won 800-meter run in 1:55.17 at Marv Frye Invitational April 10...also helped 1600-meter relay team win in 3:26.38.
- Won mile run in 4:18.65 at OWU Twilight meet April 15...also helped 1600-meter relay team win in 3:24.26.
- Named NCAC Distance/Middle Distance Runner of the Week after the OWU Twilight meet.
- Won 800-meter run in 1:53.46 and helped 1600-meter relay team finish second at Miami RedHawk Invitational April 24.
- Won 800-meter run in 1:53.95 at Denison Quad April 30.
- Won 1500-meter run in 3:57.31 and placed second in 800-meter run at NCAC championship May 6...also helped 1600-meter relay team win All-NCAC honors with second-place finish.
- Named NCAC Middle Distance/Distance Athlete of the Year at the NCAC championship...also was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year.
- Set school record in 800-meter run with clocking of 1:51.39 at Toledo Rocket Invitational May 15.
- Placed eighth in 800-meter run at North Central Gregory Invitational May 20.
- Received All-Great Lakes Region honors in 800-meter run from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
- Finished 16th in 800-meter run at NCAA Division III championship May 28.
2020-21 cross country: Member of men’s cross country team.
2020 track & field: Member of men’s track & field team...lettered during indoor season.
- Won 1000-meter run in 2:35.96 at Larry Cole Friday Night Invite Jan. 24.
- Won 800-meter run in 1:59.51 at Bob Shannon Invitational Feb. 8.
- Won All-Ohio honors with third-place finish in 800-meter run at All-Ohio championship Feb. 15.
- Garnered All-NCAC honors with second-place finish in 800-meter run at NCAC championship Feb. 29...also finished fifth in mile run.
2019 cross country: Lettered as member of men’s cross country team.
- Led Bishops with second-place finish at Kenyon Quad Aug. 30.
- Finished 19th at DeSales Invitational Oct. 12.
- Placed 112th at Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble Oct. 19.
- Finished 102nd at NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional meet Nov. 16.
High School: Won 4 letters in cross country and track & field and 3 in basketball.
- Twice finished in top 10 at state cross country championship.
- Was 7-time state champion in track & field...won pair of titles in 800- and 1600-meter runs and one in 3200-meter run...was member of 2 state-champion 3200-meter relay teams.
- Set state record in 1600-meter run and was part of state-record-setting 3200-meter relay team.
- Helped track & field team win pair of state championships.
