Kyle Yberg is in his first season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Yberg comes to Ohio Wesleyan from Adelphi University, where he spent 2 seasons as a member of the coaching staff. He helped lead the Panthers to a 14-3 record, a No. 4 national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Division II national semifinals.
He is a 2010 graduate of Molloy College, graduating cum laude in secondary mathematics education. He played for 3 seasons at Molloy, earning an 2008-09 Academic Achievement Award for Division II.
Yberg continued his education at Adelphi, earning a master's degree in sports management. He finished his playing career at Adelphi in 2011, helping the Panthers reach the NCAA Division II national championship game.
Yberg is a native of South Hempstead, N.Y.
