Mike Perrino

Mike Perrino begins his second season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.  Perrino serves as offensive coordinator and goalie coach for the Battling Bishops.

Under Perrino, the Bishops ranked 20th among NCAA Division III teams in scoring offense in 2021 with an average of 17.11 goals per game.  Perrino helped Ohio Wesleyan garner 7 All-North Coast Athletic Conference selections, including a position player of the year, 5  Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association all-region picks, and 3 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America selections.

Perrino came to Ohio Wesleyan from John Carroll University, where he spent 4 seasons as offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator, and goalie coach.  He helped guide the Blue Streaks to Ohio Athletic Conference championships and NCAA Division III tournament appearances in 2017, 2018, and 2019. During Perrino's time at John Carroll, the Blue Streaks had 26 All-OAC selections, 9 Academic All-OAC honorees, and 3 OAC position players of the year.

He also has coaching experience with Burning River Lacrosse in Cleveland and Resolute Lacrosse in Columbus, both high school and middle school travel programs.

Perrino is a 2016 graduate of Canisius College.  He played 3 years for the Griffins, twice making the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's All-Academic team and graduating cum laude with a bachelor's degree in sports management. Perrino continued his playing career in the professional ranks with the Ohio Machine in 2017-18, winning a Major Lacrosse League championship in 2017.

Perrino is a native of Solon, Ohio.
