Trey Keeley

Trey Keeley is in his fourth season as a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's lacrosse coaching staff.  He is in his second season as associate head coach after spending 2 seasons as an assistant coach.

Keeley came to Ohio Wesleyan from Frostburg (Md.) State, where he served as graduate assistant coach for 2 seasons.  At Frostburg, he ran the substitution box during games and worked with the Bobcat offensive unit, along with the face-off and wing players.  During his 2 seasons, Frostburg earned 2 Capital Athletic Conference tournament appearances and 2 ECAC tournament championship game appearances and compiled a record of 27-13.  Keeley coached 7 All-CAC selections, including the league's Rookie of the Year, and worked with the conference's Coach of the Year in 2013.  That season, Frostburg was named the most improved program in Division III by LaxPower.com.  In 2014, Frostburg received votes in the USILA Division III rankings and posted its first-ever CAC tournament victory.  Under Keeley's academic mentoring, the Bobcats also achieved the program's first-ever 3.0 semester GPA.  While at Frostburg, Keeley continued his education by earning his master's in business administration degree in 2014.

Keeley also has been active in coaching outside the collegiate ranks.  He was a head coach for U-15 and U-19 teams in the Blue Mountain Lacrosse Club, guiding the U-19 team to a gold medal at the Keystone State Games in 2011.  Keeley also served as a local development officer at the English Lacrosse Association for the Hitchin Lacrosse Club of England, organizing, promoting, and running junior clubs, camps, and tournaments.  He also started directing clinics as the founder and director of 717 Lacrosse in central Pennsylvania.

Keeley is a 2011 graduate of Roanoke College with a degree in business administration.  He was a 2-time All-America selection for the Maroons, also garnering a USILA Scholar All-America citation and 2 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference laurels.  He helped Roanoke reach the NCAA Division III tournament 3 times, including a trip to the national semifinals his senior year.
