Nicki Stanley is in her first season as assistant swimming coach and pool manager at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Stanley comes to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as head coach at College of St. Mary (Neb.) for 2 years. During her 2 years there, the Flames ranked second nationally among all divisions in team grade point average during all 4 semesters.
She began her coaching career at Wheeling Jesuit University, serving as a graduate assistant there while earning her master's degree in organizational leadership. Stanley helped guide the Cardinal men's team to a pair of Appalachian Swimming Conference championships and was part of the ASC Coaching Staff of the Year.
Stanley is a 2009 graduate of Fairmont State University, where she swam for 4 years. She was a conference finalist in relay events, and was a part of the team's winning Scholar All-America honors and leading the nation in overall grade point average. Stanley majored in exercise science and communications at Fairmont State.
She is a native of Glendale, W.Va.
