Joshua Byerly is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Ohio Wesleyan men's and women"s tennis teams.
Byerly brings more than a decade of coaching experience to the Battling Bishop staff. He has worked with players of all ages and levels across Ohio. Byerly has a passion for teaching technique, strategy, and helping players maximize their strengths.
He has served as a senior tennis professional at New Albany Country Club since 2018.
In addition to coaching the Bishops, Josh works as a librarian at Ohio Wesleyan.
Byerly played collegiate tennis at Ohio Dominican University from 2012 to 2015. He continued his education with a Master of Arts in History degree from the University of Toledo and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Kent State University.
He is a native of Delaware, Ohio.
