Ashley Trimble


Ashley Trimble is in her second season as an assistant track & field coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Trimble brings collegiate coaching experience both at her alma mater, the University of Kentucky, and at The Ohio State University.

She had a spectacular undergraduate career at Kentucky, winning the Southeastern Conference championship in the pentathlon in 2009 and helping the distance medley relay team win an SEC title in 2006.  Trimble also placed twice in the heptathlon and the 400-meter hurdles at SEC championship meets and was a 3-time selection as SEC Athlete of the Week.  She set school records in the pentathlon with 3997 points and in the heptathlon with 5530 points, and served as team captain for 2 years.

After graduating from Kentucky in 2009, Trimble competed in the 2009 USA outdoor championships in the heptathlon and in the 2011 USA indoor championships in the pentathlon.  She also competed in the 2012 Olympic Trails for USA Olympic Lifting.

Trimble is a native of Hamilton Township, Ohio, where she was a 7-time high school Division I champion, including 3 titles each in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles.
