Sarah Chauchard is in her second season with the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staffs in track & field and cross country. In track & field, she works with the Battling Bishop hurdlers and horizontal jumpers.
Chauchard came to Ohio Wesleyan after serving 2 years as a volunteer assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University, working with competitors in the high jump, triple jump, long jump, and pole vault. She helped the Eagle women sweep the Mid-American Conference indoor and outdoor championships in 2016 and finish second both indoors and outdoors in 2017, and helped the men's team record second-place finishes both indoors and outdoors during both of her years as a volunteer assistant coach in Ypsilanti.
Chauchard earned her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan in 2015. During her Eagle career, she was a 3-time All-American in the heptathlon and pentathlon, set Mid-American Conference records in the heptathlon and pentathlon, and established a school record in the pentathlon. She continued her education with a master's degree in sport management from Eastern Michigan in 2017.
She began her coaching career as a volunteer in her hometown of Montpellier, France, before heading to Eastern Michigan to finish her bachelor's degree.
