Emily Clark begins her first season as an assistant coach of the Ohio Wesleyan University softball team.
She is making her collegiate coaching debut this season. Clark has previous coaching experience with the Ohio Lady Lasers organization.
Clark is a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she had a stellar playing career. She was an All-America selection as a senior after helping the Buckeyes compile a 35-16 record and advance to an NCAA regional tournament. Clark was a 2-time, first-team all-region selection and a 3-time All-Big Ten pick, twice garnering first-team honors. She finished her career ranked third on the Buckeye list for runs batted in (169), fifth in home runs (40) and doubles (42), and eighth in walks (82). Clark majored in education, sport industry, with a minor in human development. Off the field, she was active with Team Impact and the Second and 7 Foundation.
Clark continued her playing career with the Cleveland Comets of the National Pro Fastpitch league during the summer of 2019.
She is a native of Prospect, Ohio, where she was a 3-time, first-team All-Ohio selection at North Union High School.
