Al McFarland is in his 10th season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
McFarland has 28 years' experience coaching basketball at the high school, AAU, and junior high levels. He spent 14 years as an assistant coach at Delaware Hayes High School, working with Stacey Ungashick Reed for 7 of those seasons.
Prior to joining the Delaware Hayes staff, McFarland served as head girls coach at Marion Catholic High School for 6 seasons. He began his coaching career at St. Mary’s School in Delaware.
McFarland attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a native of Bakersfield, Calif.
