Carli Codner-Pinto is in her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Codner-Pinto comes to Ohio Wesleyan from Wheeling University, where she was a graduate assistant women's basketball coach during the 2020-21 season, helping the Cardinals advance to the semifinals of the Mountain East Conference tournament. She began her coaching career at Owens Community College as a volunteer assistant.
She is a 2020 graduate of Cumberland (Tenn.) University, where she played basketball for 2 seasons, helping the Phoenix reach the NAIA tournament in 2017-18, then leading the team with an average of 11.9 points per game in 2018-19. She began her collegiate career at Columbus State Community College, setting a school record with 1094 points while becoming the Cougars' first-ever All-America honoree, winning third-team NJCAA All-America honors as a sophomore. She was a first-team all-region choice as a freshman.
Codner-Pinto has continued her education by working on a master's of business administration degree at Wheeling.
She is a native of Columbus and attended Northland High School.
