Kate Gunts


Kate Gunts is in her second season as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Gunts came to Ohio Wesleyan after serving as head goalkeepers coach with the Revolution Lacrosse Club in Westchester, New York, for more than a year.  Gunts also has several years' experience coaching at the club level and at camps.

She spent 2 years as a production assistant with NBC Sports/Olympics in Stamford, Conn., with her assignments including Sunday Night Football, the Summer Olympics in London, England, and the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Gunts is a 2012 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she played goalkeeper for 4 years, compiling a career record of 20-9.  The 20 wins tied for fifth place on the Wildcats' all-time victories list.  She majored in communications, graduated magna cum laude, and was a 3-time selection to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.

Gunts is a native of Wilton, Conn.
