Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Jen Murphy is in her seventh season as an assistant track & field coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Murphy coaches field events.  She had 2 national qualifiers during the 2013 season, had a pair of national qualifiers during the 2011 season, and coached 2 national qualifiers in her first season at Ohio Wesleyan.

She is a 2005 Ohio Wesleyan graduate.  During her Battling Bishop career, she won All-America honors in the indoor high jump in 2005, was a 2-time conference champion and a 5-time all-conference honoree in the high jump, and placed in 6 different events in North Coast Athletic Conference championship competition.

Murphy majored in history at Ohio Wesleyan, and went on to receive her master’s degree in education from Walden University.  She is a native of North Olmsted, Ohio.
