Ethan Sheirer

Ethan Sheirer in his first season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan.  He coaches the Bishop offensive line.

Sheirer comes to Ohio Wesleyan after one year at Boston College, where he served as a graduate assist, working with the Eagles' offensive line.  During his season at BC, 4 offensive linemen were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team.

Prior to Boston College, Sheirer coached at the University at Buffslo for 3 years, serving as a special teams quality control and special teams analyst before moving to a senior special teams analyst and finally an offensive line graduate assistant position.  

Sheirer began his coaching career at the University of Jamestown (N.D.), where he worked for 2 seasons as a graduate assistant running backs coach and then as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

He is a 2019 graduate of Lake Forest College, majoring in psychology.  During his playing career with the Foresters, Sheirer won first-team All-Midwest Conference honors and was named Most Valuable Player and team captain by his teammates.

Sheirer is a native of Mesa, Ariz.
