Jamie Ingles is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Ohio Wesleyan University baseball team. He coaches the Battling Bishop hitters and outfielders.
Ingles has a long history of assisting the Bishop baseball team, starting at a young age under the mentorship of his uncle, former head coach and athletics director Roger Ingles.
Jamie Ingles started coaching youth baseball in 1998 in the U.S. Army Youth Baseball League in Fort Stewart, Ga. He has since coached recreational and travel baseball and softball. Prior to coming to Ohio Wesleyan, Ingles served as the assistant commissioner and development coach for Johnstown youth baseball and is currently a development coach for Cincinnati Reds baseball camps, Ohio Wesleyan summer and winter baseball camps, Bo Jackson Elite Travel Baseball, and holds a USA Baseball Level C certification.
He is a 2012 graduate of Franklin University, majoring in criminal justice administration. He retired from the Ohio Army National Guard as a sergeant major.
Ingles is a native of Columbus, Ohio.
