Vincent Pickett

Vincent Pickett is in his second season as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Pickett came to Ohio Wesleyan from Wilmington College, where he was a graduate assistant wrestling coach during the 2023-24 season and the first half of the 2024-25 season.

Prior to Wilmington, Pickett coached at Upper Arlington High School for 7 seasons.

Pickett is a 2016 graduate of Edinboro (Pa.) University, where he wrestled at the Division I level for 4 seasons.  He qualified for the NCAA national championship tournament in 2014-15, with the Fighting Scots finishing third in the final standings.  Pickett finished his collegiate career with a 79-62 overall record.

He is a native of Galloway, Ohio.  Pickett wrestled at Central Crossing High School, compiling a 167-23 career record.  His senior year, he finished as runner-up at 170 at the Division I state championship, losing a 3-2 decision in the final.  He ended his senior season with a 40-2 record, was named the Central Ohio Division I Wrestler of the Year, and was a 2012 high school All-American by InterMat, ranking 18th at 170.
