Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Sarah Fowler (Mount Vernon/Fredericktown) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 20, it was announced by the NCAC.

Fowler, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

Fowler won the 3000-meter run in 10:50.75 to help the Ohio Wesleyan women win the team title at the OWU Triangular on Friday.
