Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Paige Springhetti (Medina/Highland) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 24, it was announced by the NCAC.

Springhetti, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Springhetti finished second in the 200- and 400-meter dashes, helping Ohio Wesleyan finish second in the team standings at the Kenyon College Classic on Saturday.
