Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Zak Geiger (New Concord/John Glenn) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of April 7, it was announced by the NCAC.

Geiger, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Distance Runner of the Week.

Geiger finished third in the 1500-meter run in helping Ohio Wesleyan win the team title at the annual Marv Frye Invitational on Saturday.  Geiger finished in 4:02.24.
