Ohio Wesleyan University junior Zak Geiger (New Concord/John Glenn) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 13, it was announced by the NCAC.

Geiger, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Distance Runner of the Week.

Geiger won the 3000-meter steeplechase at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet, breaking the tape in 9:30.32.  The win helped Ohio Wesleyan win the team title at the meet, the Bishops' first All-Ohio title since 2010.
